My Story
As a Trustee of Evie's Gift I have each year raised money for the Charity through sponsored walks of various lengths. Also each year, the Charity has helped more and more families of seriously ill children, and the aim of the charity is to help all those we can. Which needs funds - and so time of charity walk(s) in 2023.
In the last 5 years my walks have got longer and more challenging, and the last two years the sponsored walks were 60 miles continous walks organised by Ultra Challenge.
I will be 60 years young this year, and so a walk of 60 miles seems a given - 60 miles @ 60 years - catchy eh? But, I've already done a 60 mile walk, so I needed something more challenging - like doing 6 of them. Why 6? Well, this will be the 6th year of the Charity, the 6th year since Evie died, and... well 6 rhymes nicely with 60@60. So, 6x60@60!
